Liam McFadden - October 2008
Welcome to the first post on this new message site for Liam McFadden.
It's been an exciting few weeks which have seen the release of my second album, 'Lights In The Distance'. The album is available through CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon amongst others. Please check out the hotlinks in the 'links' box on this page.
It's been a thrill to have had airplay on the Bob Birch Show on internet station, Venture Radio. Bob has played 'Can't Change The World' for two successive weeks and I've offered him two other tracks for his consideration.
I've also collaborated with MySpace friend, Claudio Scarsciafratte, who has recorded a new smooth jazz version of 'Can't Change The World' with which I'm delighted. Claudio has woven his superb instrumental soundscape around my original vocal tracks to create a completely different interpretation of the song. I'm hopeful that he will post it soon on his MySpace profile and I'll let you know if/when that happens.
Another MySpace friend, the wonderful Max Tosi, has sent me a demo of one of his songs and has invited me to record a version of it. I am truly honoured and look forward to giving that my best shot over the next few months.
And there's new material forming for my next album project, so I'm keeping myself busy!
